Accreditation

The Cobb County School District is fully accredited by Cognia, the world’s largest educational accrediting agency. Maintaining district accreditation requires adherence to stringent standards and a full audit of the school district every five years.

Our vision is a school district of excellence where all students succeed.

Through the district strategic planning process, the direction is set for continuous improvement for all schools and the system at large. The district’s vision and mission are developed through stakeholder input and are systematically reviewed to provide clear direction for strategic planning. All schools use a common strategic planning template and align their plans to meet long-range goals set by the Board of Education, as well as district priorities.
