The CCSD Police Department's K-9 program was established in 1999. Since its inception, the unit has grown to two K-9 teams to provide for the needs of the District. The K-9 program provides an exceptional educational tool for the students while also supporting the safety and security objectives of the Cobb County School District.
The two K-9 teams that serve the District include Officer Marshall Duling and his partner "Sadie" and Officer Alex Hicks and his partner "Axel".
